Tarot Reading Sessions Explained

Two women arrive for a reading together and seen individually.  One woman goes for readings once or twice a year for a spiritual check-in. Ace of Wands establishes the theme for a general reading with the suggestion that she needs a new fire in her life – new project, hobby, and/or passion. The Moon Card revealed what needed healing which initiates a discussion about how her menopause was affecting her sleep. The Emperor, symbolizing the father of the tarot points to her father who had passed away a couple of years earlier and she asks why he hadn’t communicated with her since. The second client drew the Death card. This suggested she was resisting inevitable change. When the client sees the Death card, she exclaims, “No one is going to die I hope!?” which led to a discussion about what the Death card really means when its turned over in the course of a reading.
