It’s one of my fervent hopes in this blog to draw some bridges between two very different yet equally vital aspects of my life. Sewing is my passion and hobby, psychic is my vocation and spiritual journey. These are the wings that transport me into the peak experiences and spaces sometimes referred to as flow. The Zen of Sewing.

I want to create a blog that enables me to document this process. This blog is about who I am… becoming. Hopefully it will also initiate an inner narrative for you too. If I’m successful, as the reader, you will also be nudged to explore this process of blending opposites within yourself. While you maybe a sewer, who are you spiritually? How does your sewing spur your spiritual development and visa versa? How is your sewing-self sit opposite to yet complementary to your other selves?

It represents an inner sacred marriage, the ‘coniunctio’. The union of my divine spirit with soul, and finally with the body. The union of these opposites in myself I believe is carrying me to a maturing wholeness. I know… rather lofty. But that’s also a reflection of who I am. I cannot seem to do anything without some form of reflection, pondering and intellectualizing. I felt I should warn you.

I write this blog for selfish reasons. I needed a place to express this process. I needed to see it unfold in some concrete way. I needed to document this journey. If you would like to join me along the way I’m thrilled to have you.
